Reproducible R: High Protein, Water Efficient Foods

California’s severe drought has opened up a lot of speculation about the amount of agricultural water used for water-intensive crops.

If we can assess the water footprint of foods controlling for their protein content, then we can get a good idea of what really is or isn’t an efficient use of agricultural water for the stuff we eat.
